Paddy McCourt to return to the Brandywell

It is reported in today’s Derry Journal that Paddy McCourt will return to his home town club later this year, but in a coaching capacity.
McCourt is expected to be announced as Derry City’s Youth Development Officer, using his UEFA ‘A’ Coaching licence and calling on his previous coaching experience at Club NI in Cookstown.
The Finn Harps man, who is playing in his 17th year of senior football, reportedly met with Derry City board members and manager Kenny Shiels to discuss the role.
