The British Prime Minister claims EU Commission proposals on the Irish Border are unacceptable and it would separate Northern Ireland from Great Britain.
Speaking to the Andrew Marr Show on the BBC, Theresa May says it is also important for the people of the North that there is no hard border in Ireland.
However she insisted that the Irish border is only one issue that needs to be addressed in negotiations between Britain and the EU.
