Gardai investigating theft of boat engine

Gardai are continuing to investigate an incident at Downings Pier in which a boat was moved from its location and the engine stolen.
Gardai were called to the pier on Monday morning last at about 8:30am.
It is understood that the boat had been located at a different location than was originally situated and the engine reported missing.
No damage was caused to the boat but Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
