It’s been revealed that the gross need on the housing list for the Inishowen Municipal District is 630.
According to the latest figures, 225 are on the housing waiting list while 405 are currently on the transfer list.
The figures come amid fears over depopulation across rural parts of the peninsula.
Cllr Bernard McGuinness says if certain trends continue, services in rural Inishowen will be seriously affected:
