Plans to bring the Old Courthouse in Letterkenny back to life are progressing with Donegal County Council confirming its intentions to relocate staff there later this year.
The historic building has been closed for over a year now with legal services moving to new premises on the High Road area of the town.
The potential use of the vacated courthouse has been a major talking point however the local authority has also stated that it’s engaging with Failte Ireland with a view towards housing tourism facilities within the building.
