INMO adds two extra days to strike action


The Health Service Executive has posted advertisements in today’s papers ahead of next week’s planned strike action by the INMO.
Across the country, 37,000 nurses and midwives are expected to continue their 24-hour work stoppages in the row over pay and recruitment.
The HSE is advising people only to attend Emergency Departments if absolutely essential, during the strike days.
The INMO has added two extra 24-hour work stoppages, in addition to the five they previously announced.
