Letterkenny Gardaí seize car after learner turns away from checkpoint

Members of Letterkenny Road Policing Unit have seized a car after it turned away from a Garda checkpoint.
Gardaí chased the Ford Focus into a farm yard before it emerged the driver was an unoccupied learner and the car had no ‘L’ plates on display.
The car was seized and a fixed charge penalty notice was issued to the driver.
