Junior Health Minister describes politics in Donegal as ‘unusual’

 

A junior health Minister has described politics in Donegal as ‘unusual’.
Minister Jim Daly made the comments when pressed for an update from Deputy Charlie McConalogue and Deputy Pearse Doherty on the future of the three Donegal community hospitals.
It follows a weekend protest in support of the Save our St Joseph’s Hospital Campaign, they feel much uncertainty still remains surrounding the future of services.
Minister Daly says progress is on-going but that the situation remains unchanged since the last time an update was requested.
It led to a heated exchange in the Dail last evening:
