Primary teachers concerned over ‘bombardment’ of new initiatives


Primary School teachers are demanding an end to what it says is the constant ‘bombardment’ of new initiatives.
The INTO claims there’s an ever expanding list of things schools are expected to implement.
Curriculum changes, well-being initiatives, child-safety programs are just some of the things adding to teachers’ workloads.
Outgoing General Secretary of the INTO Sheila Nunan says its the associated admin work that is the real issue:
