It’s emerged that a local woman has been issued a fine for illegal dumping after contacting a bogus waste disposal company.
Following an investigation, it’s understood that the woman fell victim to an unregistered service which was advertised online.
It’s widely thought that various instances of industrial scale dumping across Donegal could be connected to these fake services.
Cllr Adrian Glackin is calling for a thorough investigation into the matter and is urging residents to be on high alert:
