Count Six in Donegal Electoral Area

As counting continues in the St John Bosco Centre in Donegal Town, Independent candidate Roger Meehan has now been eliminated in the sixth count following the distribution of the votes of Diarmaid Doherty.
The count is now on its seveth round with Independent Niamh Kennedy on 1,682 leading Sinn Fein’s Noel Jordan who has 1,609.
