It has been confirmed that funding has been secured and issues of concern have been resolved for Glenties Playground.
It follows challenges faced by the Glenties Playground Committee surrounding insurance costs and the running of the facility
The playground was originally constructed through local funding, Leader & Lottery grants and the local authority was not in the position to cover insurance costs.
The funding secured will be used to carry out repairs and a notice of motion to takeover the playground will be submitted to the Council.
Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher Leas Cheann Comhairle and local County Councillor Anthony Molloy are pleased to confirm the funding.
