Lee Early has been described as a shining light on Arranmore Island.
The 26 year old lost his life after getting trapped underwater when his car slipped off a pier on the island yesterday morning.
A passenger managed to get out of the car and swim ashore to raise the alarm.
An investigation is continuing.
