Talks to restore devolved Government in NI to begin next month


Fresh talks to restore devolved government in Northern Ireland will start in the middle of next month.
Northern Secretary Julian Smith says if they don’t lead to an agreement by January 13th then new Assembly elections will be triggered.
He admits there are a number of issues to be resolved – including a demand for an Irish language act and looking at the way the Assembly works.
