Concern has been raised over the suspension of podiatry services in Dungloe.
The HSE has confirmed that due to works commencing shortly at Dungloe Community Hospital to improve patient services, privacy and ensure compliance with HIQA standards the Podiatry Service will no longer be housed there.
The body says relocation options are currently being explored including the availability of suitable accommodation in the Glenties and Falcarragh areas.
Local Councillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig says it is unacceptable for the service to be moved to another area at the expense of those in Dungloe:
