LUH says appointments and scheduled services continue as normal

Management at Letterkenny University Hospital say that Outpatient, X-ray and other scheduled appointments and procedures are going ahead as usual.
On Friday all the hospitals in the Saolta Group introduced visiting restrictions and that includes Letterkenny University Hospital. However, General manager Sean Murphy says services at the hospital are not impacted.
He says if appointments are postponed, the hospital will contact patients by phone to advise them of that face.
He says patients do not need to call the hospital to check if their appointment is going ahead, and the advice to the public is to please attend your scheduled appointments as usual.
However, he stressed people should not come to the hospital to visit patients on the wards or if people are attending appointments, they should not visit patients afterwards.
