Town park for Twin Towns a step closer

 

Significant progress has been made this week in the delivery of a town park for the Twin Towns.
Donegal County Council has confirmed that the process of acquiring land in Drumboe woods for the park is at an advanced stage with detailed designs set to begin immediately.
Full planning permission for the park which will link Drumboe and Creggan Woods was granted last year for the development of walks, a children’s playground and a recreational and open space.
Local Councillor Patrick McGowan has also been welcoming the announcement that funding for a public consultation on the long-awaited park has been sanctioned:
