Calls for overhaul to Stay and Spend scheme


 
The Irish Tourism Confederation is calling for the government’s Stay and Spend scheme to be overhauled in time for summer.
It claims the scheme is too narrow, cumbersome and off-putting for many.
Speaking to the Irish Examiner, its Chief Executive Eoghan O’ Mara Walsh says a simpler voucher scheme to stimulate domestic tourism could save many businesses.
