First group of asylum seekers arriving in Letterkenny today

The first group of asylum seekers are arriving in Letterkenny today.
The residents will be moving from the emergency accommodation they are currently being housed in in Portsalon where they have been staying since 2019 to Letterkenny’s direct provision centre.
Work has been carried out on the former student accomodation on the Port Road which will cater for up to 60 families.
