The European Badminton Championships start in Kiev today and the Irish team has a very strong Donegal representation with Sam, Chloe and Joshua Magee and Rachel Darragh all involved.
In the men’s doubles today, Joshua Magee and Paul Reynolds are up against Scotland’s Christopher and Matthew Grimley while in the women’s single Rachel faces Serbia’s Marija Sudimac.
Sam and Chloe will start their competition on Wednesday against French pair Eloi Adam and Margot Lambert in the last 32 round.
The Raphoe siblings have medaled at three previous European competitions and they know another good result in the Ukraine would keep them on track to make the Olymics in Tokyo.
