The number of patients being treated for Covid-19 at Letterkenny University Hospital has fallen.
Infectious cases at the hospital fell from 15 to 9 over yesterday, with one person receiving care in ICU.
Nationally, 151 Covid-19 patients were in public hospitals last night – the lowest in over 200 days.
The figure dropped by 22 in 24 hours, to its lowest since October 6th, while there are 46 in intensive care.
437 new cases were reported yesterday, along with one death.
62 of the cases were identified in Donegal, which now has a 14 day incidence rate of 288.3 cases per 100,000 people, the highest rate in the country
On Thursday the government will announce what restrictions will ease over the coming months.
