Council meeting adjourned to mark death of Monaghan U20 captain

Today’s sitting of Donegal County Council has been adjourned for 10 minutes as a mark of respect following the death of Monaghan U20 Captain, Brendan Óg Dufaigh.

The 19 year old died in a car crash, a matter of hours after Captaining Monaghan in the Ulster Championship semi-final against Donegal on Friday night.

The move was proposed by Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Councillor Jack Murray and seconded by Councillor Micheal Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig.
