Forsa Assistant General Secretary says health service needs injection of cash and people

There needs to be an injection of cash and people into the health service as well as confirmation that current waiting lists will be dealt with.

That’s according to the Assistant General Secretary of Forsa.

Concerns have been raised that the health service is at breaking point with long delays being experienced at Emergency Departments and long patient waiting lists.

The waiting list for a smear test in Donegal is currently almost 2 years.
