The Cathaoirleach of the Letterkenny Milford Municipal District believes the Government’s response to the crisis in Afghanistan is relevant to the size of Ireland.
The Government agreed earlier this week to accept 150 refugees in addition to the 45 humanitarian visas already granted.
Refugee and asylum seekers organisations across the country have been urging the Government to do more to accomodate more Afghan refugees.
