Unionist leaders sign joint declaration opposing Northern Ireland Protocol

The leaders of the four main unionist parties in the North have signed a declaration opposing the post-Brexit arrangements.

They’ve been campaigning to scrap the Northern Ireland Protocol – with claims it’s cutting the region off from the rest of the UK.

An effective border in the Irish Sea was agreed between the UK and EU as a way to maintain the free-flowing border with the Republic.
