The number of people in hospital with Covid-19 has doubled in the past three weeks.
Today the figure stands at 1,624 – the highest in over 14 months.
Three weeks ago, the number was only 808.
Latest figures show that there were 60 Covid patients being treated on site in Letterkenny University Hospital.
