Fintan Dewhirst has qualified for the semi finals of the 400m hurdles at the European U18 Championships in Jerusalem.
The Tir Chonaill man ran a new personal best time of 52.58sec to finish second in his heat on Tuesday morning.
Fintan will be back on track for the semi final on Wednesday.
