Gardai in Donegal are appealing to motorists to avoid parking in disabled parking bays unless authorised to do so.
Disabled parking bays they say are limited and if occupied by motorists without a valid permit are denying those most in need.
Drivers detected in a disabled parking pay without a valid permit will be liable to pay a fixed charge penalty notice of €150.
