A man remains in hospital following an assault in Castlefinn.
The man was assaulted in the Long Brae area at around midnight on Sunday last.
He was transferred to hospital by ambulance for treatment to injuries sustained.
Gardai say his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
They are appealing to anyone who has any information or dash cam footage to come forward.
