Heatwave could give way to heavy rain by Monday

The current heatwave could turn to heavy downpours by Monday.

Temperatures in some parts in the South East of the country could reach as high as the low thirties today, with the North West expecting temperatures around 25 degrees.

But the country is set to cool down rapidly at the start of next week to temperatures in the high teens or low twenties.
