Irish Water say that overnight water restrictions have been put in place on the Carrigart Water Supply Scheme due to demand exceeding supply.
Households and businesses in the Carrigart, Downings and Cranford area will have their water supply restricted between 10am at night and 9am in the morning.
Irish Water say that the restrictions are required to give the reservoir time to replenish during off-peak times, as there is a possibility that there would be insufficient water supply to homes and businesses during daytime hours without some measures being put in place.
