Paul McGinley says he is ‘humbled and honoured’ to have received the Freedom of Donegal.
The golfer was awarded the prestigious accolade at a Civic Reception at the Rosapenna Hotel in Downings today.
It comes as the Irish Legends Golf Tour, hosted by the McGinley Foundation gets underway tomorrow.
