Four Donegal Athletes were part of the 11 strong Ulster/Athletics NI squad who performed with distinction at the Welsh U20 International in Swansea on Wednesday evening.
16 years old Fintan Dewhirst of Tir Chonaill AC, in his 2nd run over senior 400m hurdles ran an excellent time of 53.46secs. He took the win, a new stadium record and a new Donegal record.
17 years old Adriene Gallen of Lifford -Strabane AC threw 53.55m in the Hammer, hitting a new PB, a 2nd place finish and another new Donegal record.
Cranfords Oisin Kelly ran the 800m in 1min 56.35secs and Joseph Gillespie of Fimn Valley competed in the High Jump, both were also pleased with their performances.
