2,298 Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Donegal up to the 7th of August.
Nationally, almost 48,000 Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Ireland, an increase of just under 3,300 in three weeks.
In total 2,298 ukrainian refugees have arrived in Donegal since March.
The Donegal Electoral area has the highest number of refugees with 945, followed Letterkenny with 367 ukrainians being housed there.
296 refugees have arrived in Glenties, 256 in Carndonagh and 185 in the Lifford and Stranorlar area.
159 refugees are now living in Milford while Buncrana recorded the lowest intake with 90 refugees.
Nationally, the highest percentage of those arriving, 38 per cent, are categorised as ‘one parent with children’.
Of those who attended employment support events, two thirds were noted with English language proficiency being a challenge in securing employment.
