Conor McKenna has won an All Ireland Football medal with Tyrone and recently decided to return to Australia and resume his AFL career.
But before he departs he will have a big day to look forward to as Ampeson, trained by his Dad, Patrick McKenna, is set to run in the 6-furlong Bold Lad sprint handicap at the Curragh on Day 2 of Longines Irish Champions Weekend on Sunday, 11th September.
Conor loves horses and rides out regularly, he thinks Ampeson could run a big race.
