Coastal communities in Donegal are set to benefit from significant funding for capital projects under the Brexit Blue Economy Scheme.
Up to €200,000 is available for capital projects.
The scheme aims to stimulate growth in rural coastal communities post-Brexit, with funding allocated to businesses operating within 10 kilometers of the coastline and involved in the blue economy in sectors including seafood, coastal tourism, boat building and maintenance, marine recreation and renewable energy initiatives.
Three funding streams are available they are; Capital Investment, Business Mentoring & Capacity Development, and Upskilling & Training.
