Sligo Rovers have been forced to forfeit their SSE Airtricity League Premier Division match with Dundalk held on August 29th.
The Bit O’Red won the fixture 2-nil, but have been deemed to have fielded an ineligible player by the FAI’s Disciplinary Committee.
Dundalk will now be awarded the points on a 3-nil scoreline.
