The prosecution of a British soldier in connection with the events of Bloody Sunday has formally recommenced in Belfast.
Soldier F’s facing two counts of murder and five of attempted murder in connection with Bloody Sunday in 1972, when 13 people were killed after British army paratroopers opened fire on civil rights demonstrators in the city.
The case was mentioned briefly at Belfast Magistrates court this morning before being adjourned until October 7th when a date for a committal hearing will be set.
