The HSE is scaling down it’s emergency response to Covid testing.
The contracts of testing staff in 18 countries will end next week – with future testing being provided by GPS, supported by the National Ambulance Service.
The plan reported in today’s Irish Times shows testing centres will remain open during the transition.
However the Irish Medical Organisation says the plan has not yet been discussed with them.
