More than 3,500 children infected with Covid-19 have been hospitalised so far.
That’s according to new analysis carried out by the National Immunisation Advisory Committee.
The six-months to four-year age group accounted for more than a third of paediatric admissions.
This age group will soon be able to avail of a Covid-19 vaccine.
