The Taoiseach says the government hopes to accommodate thousands of refugees on a more permanent basis in the coming months.
Leo Varadkar says it’s one of the objectives of a new working group which has been established to deal with the crisis.
Earlier 20 million euro in funding was approved by cabinet which will go towards the government’s revised accommodation plan.
