Donegal had the largest increase in blood donations last year.
The figure more than doubled, to almost 4,900 while Leitrim, Longford and Roscommon had the fewest blood donations in the country in 2022.
In total, there were nearly 132,000 donations around the country last year, according to freedom of information figures.
