A safe containing a substantial amount of money has been stolen from a house in Muff.
At around 4:30am on Sunday morning last, entry is believed to have been gained to the property at Kilderry Lane through a downstairs window.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact them at Buncrana Garda station.
