Former Letterkenny Rovers player James Abankwah made his Serie A debut on Sunday afternoon.
The defender came off the bench for Udinese, 86 minutes into their 3-0 defeat away to Bologna.
The 19-year-old signed for the Italian side last year from League of Ireland side, St Pat’s.
