The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, and Minister of State, Joe O’Brien TD, have today announced a further tranche of successful applicants to the Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme.
Almost €9,700 has been awarded to community and voluntary groups in Donegal.
The 9 Donegal groups were among 128 nationally, who received a combined total of €213,264 in the fourth tranche of energy supports to community and voluntary groups.
Of the Donegal awardees Colgan Community & Resource Centre CLG recieved €2,061, Coiste Forbartha an Fhal Carraigh Cuideachta FTR received €1,856 and Raphoe Community in Action Company Limited by Guarantee was awarded €1,453.
The funding is provided to assist these group in the face of rising energy costs.
