The Taoiseach and Environment Minister Eamon Ryan will be in Belgium today for the North Sea Summit.
Leo Varadkar says he’s set for Ireland to become energy independent within a generation and wants to break the link with fossil fuels.
The aim is to accelerate the development of offshore wind in the North Seas.
He will meet the leaders of Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Norway.
