A post mortem is being be carried out today on the body of a young woman who died after she was hit by a Garda car outside Buncrana at the weekend.
21 year old Rebecca Brown from Derry was struck by the patrol car as she was walking close to Ludden Beach at around 3.15 yesterday morning.
The collision is now the subject of a GSOC investigation.
The road has now reopened.
