Derry City suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Sligo Rovers on Saturday night.
Will Fitzgerald’s goal on five minutes proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Sligo had John Mahon sent off on 74 minutes but they held on to claim all three points as Derry’s lead at the top remains at a point.
