Termon score ten goals as they lift the Senior Ladies All-Ireland Gaeltacht title

An Tearmainn proved to be far too strong against Galway Gaeltacht champions Maigh Cuilinn as they romped to a 10-20 to 1-4 victory in the Senior Women’s Final of Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta 2023, at The Banks, the home of CLG Naomh Muire, who are hosting the tournament.

Geraldine McLaughlin scored four of the goals for the rampant Donegal side lifted the silverware that they last won in 2015.

Although Maigh Cuilinn took the lead, An Termainn soon took control and the game was effectively over in the first quarter and by the break the Donegal team were 7-9 to 0-3 ahead.

An Tearmainn scorers: Geraldine McLaughlin 4-4, Ciara McGarvey 2-2 Roisin McCafferty 1-5, Roisin Friel 1-3. Emer Gallagher and Jill McGettigan scored the other goals.

An Tearmainn had booked their place in the final following an impressive 7-12 to 0-2 success over Cill Chomáin of Mayo in the semi-final.
