Reaction – Derry City goalkeeper makes debut

Tadhg Ryan made his debut in goals for holders Derry City  in Sunday’s FAI Cup first round 3-0 defeat of Division One side Athlone Town.

He was well pleased with the way things went, as he told Martin Holmes.

Martin also got the thoughts of the influential and hugely experienced Patrick McEleney who spoke about the importance of having a big squad.
